MICHAEL VERROCHI RE-ELECTED CHAIRMAN OF THE IBWA BOARD

ALEXANDRIA, VAThe International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) announced its 2004 Officers, Board Members and Executive Committee during the IBWA 45th Annual Convention and Trade Show, part of Worldwide Food Expo ’03, held in Chicago, IL, October 29-November 1, 2003.

Michael Verrochi, owner of Blue Hills Spring Water Co., Inc. in Quincy, MA, was re-elected to the position of Chairman of the IBWA Board of Directors. In 1998, Chairman Verrochi was elected to IBWA’s Board of Directors and has served as an officer of the association since 2000. Since his 1984 entry into the bottled water business on up until today, Chairman Verrochi has maintained a steadfast commitment to the bottled water industry and a dedicated member of IBWA.

IBWA newly elected the following IBWA members to the 2004 Board of Directors: Mark Blackstone, Oasis Corporation; Bryan Hendrix, Melwood Springs Water Co./Georgia Crown Dist. Co.; James J. Land, Jr., Wissahickon Spring Water Co.; and William Patrick Young, Absopure Water Co. In addition, IBWA re-elected for 2004: Henry R. Hidell, III, Hidell-Eyster International, and Charlie McCoy, CCDA Waters, LLC.
